Accessing the serial console of ILOM systems like Sun Fire X4100, X4100 M2, X4140, X4150, X4170, X4200, X4200 M2, X4250, X4270, X4600, X4600 M2, etc. you can do the following:

1. Logon to the SP via ssh
2. Run start /SP/console
3. If you get a Serial console is in use message, then you will first need to run stop /SP/console and then start /SP/console.
4. When you are done with your console session, type ESC ( (ESC and shift-9)
