If you are using a server running sendmail, create a ~/.forward file with your e-mail address in it.
1. vi ~/.forward
2. Type in your e-mail address admin@somedomain.com
3. Save and quit
4. Send a test message to the user.
i.e. mail -s “Test Message” unixuser < /tmp/file
The mail should now be delivered to the forwarding address instead of on the local server.
