To show battery percentage on the Mac menu bar running Big Sur or later, please do the following:
1. Go to System Preferences > Dock & Menu Bar.
2. On the left side, scroll down to Other Modules.
3. Select Battery.
4. On the right, check the boxes for Show in Menu Bar and Show Percentage.
